Joan Kim is a Korean American YouTuber based in Seoul. She started off uploading K-Beauty and fashion content, but has recently garnered popularity for her personal joanday vlog entries. So if you want to vicariously travel to Seoul, check out her YouTube channels!

Brianna [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Californian born and raised. In the mornings, she works as a baker and during her off time, Brianna enjoys casual gaming and cosplay – having started cosplaying back in 2007. She’s been brought into K-Pop cosplay in 2013 and has enjoyed coming to KCON and seeing other cosplayers and fans every year since.

Hsushi [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Annie Hsu, known to most as Hsushi, is a recent UCLA graduate with a degree in Asian American studies. Her favorite K-Pop groups are Seventeen, Mamamoo, NCT, and Day6 and she loves learning new K-Pop dances with her friends!

Destiny [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Recent graduate from UCLA with a major in Environmental Science. Aside from her passions for sustainability and all things eco-friendly, she also enjoys listening to K-Pop and learning K-Pop dances. From broadening her perception to a whole new culture to introducing her to lifelong friends in her college career, K-Pop has undoubtedly played an influential role in her life. Her favorite group is NCT (all sub-units!) and her ultimate bias is Jaehyun.

Crystal, also known as Crystal Diamond is a classically trained dancer who is known for her versatile K-Pop dance covers on Instagram. She has been captivated by K-Pop choreography since 2012 and opened her account in 2015. Since then, Crystal aspires to spread her passion for dance and unite the kcommunity through the love for K-Pop.

Alex [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

If Alex Nguyen could choose to be any idol, it would be HyunA. If he could have any career, he’d want to be an author, paleontologist, backup dancer, child psychiatrist, or all of the above. Alex loves pizza and fried rice. But what he loves most is meeting, fanboying, and dancing alongside fellow K-pop lovers

Young Ajummah [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Young Ajummah is a 30+ year old K-Pop fan turned Hallyu freelance writer. She has a monthly podcast on Aewen Radio where she plays the latest and the greatest Korean hip hop and R&B. Young Ajummah also spends her nights binging the latest action/horror Korean movies and K-Dramas (no romance please) so make sure you join her hysterical adventures by following her on social media.

VJ Hanna [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Hanna is a host on the K-Pop-TV network, broadcasting 24 hours a day in San Francisco and online in Los Angeles. Hanna has been researching K-Pop content, interviewing Korean artists, and designing playlists constantly to help keep the 24-Hour K-Pop-TV network exciting and informative. Her goal is to expand the joy of the K-Pop experience for existing fans and to expose more Americans to this spectacular art form.

Victoria Ortiz [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Ever since she first heard Jinho sing ballads in his pre-debut, she longed for him to debut as a member of a full-fledged Idol group. It wasn’t until years later that she finally saw him debut as a member of PENTAGON! Victoria enjoys singing along to any PENTAGON’s song, and breaks into dance whenever she hears Shine.
