Andreas Oberg [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Andreas Oberg is a songwriter, producer born in Sweden. He started out as a pro guitarist mainly focusing on jazz & blues. After some years of touring he got into writing songs and discovered the booming Asian music market. Since then Andreas has written/produced songs for many of the big K-Pop idols such as EXO, TWICE, Super Junior, SHINee, Red Velvet, Girls Generation, (f)x, NCT, TAEYEON, TVXQ, VIXX, MONSTA X & many others. Andreas is known for his use of interesting chords and harmonies as well as his rich vocal arrangements.

Cha Cha Malone [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Chase Vincent Malone, more commonly known as Cha Cha Malone, is an American singer, music producer, songwriter, composer, and member of b-boy crew Art of Movement (AOM). The Seattle, Washington native is widely known for his work with Korean-American artist, friend, and fellow AOMG member, Jay Park – a music partnership that began in 2009 and has produced numerous multi-platinum hits. Most recently, Malone and Park co-founded the hip-hop label, H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS. Aside from collaborations with Park, Malone has produced over 80 songs and has worked with an impressive list of artists in South Korea, including AOMG’s Loco, Red Velvet, Shinhwa, Dok2, The Quiett, Beenzino, B1A4, KARA, and NU’EST. Malone’s music is recognizable by its distinctive producer tag, ‘I need a Cha Cha beat boy.  

Coco [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Coco is part of a K-Pop duo called CocoSori, and she also has her own YouTube channel called Rilaccoco! On somedays she’ll take you behind the scenes of K-Pop music programs and performances, and on most days she’ll take you out for some nice icecream!  

Thurxday [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Thurxday is a South Korean producer and is signed under hip hop label H1GHR MUSIC, where he produces for many of his label-mates, including pH-1.

WOOGIE [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Woogie (우기) is the stage name of Park Je Wook (박제욱), a producer from South Korea. His signature tag “Woogie on and on” can be heard on some of the most popular hip-hop and R&B songs in the country. Signed to H1GHR MUSIC, he frequently collaborates with fellow label-mates including Sik-K, and heavyweight rappers including Jay Park (who owns H1GHR MUSIC) and Loco.  

Alexandra Reid [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Alexandra Reid made history as the first ever non-Asian, black K-Pop Idol. Her wildest dream came true when she was scouted at a recording studio in Los Angeles and less than a week later found herself in Seoul, preparing to debut. Fans instantly fell in love with her; embracing her as an inspiration in the K-Pop industry. In late 2017, her abrupt departure from the group left fans with more questions than answers. She is ready to relive some of her fondest memories and share what it was like to live the dream of many all over the world.

IRENE KIM [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Dubbed by Vogue Magazine as an “ambassador to the buzzing South Korean fashion scene” and Womenswear Daily as fashion’s “It Girl.” Irene Kim is the host of popular Korean fashion & beauty programs such as K-Style. She is at the forefront of the Korean entertainment establishment, and she represents the emergence of Korean talents who are influencing the marketplace of East Asia and beyond. Fluent in both English and Korean, Irene began as a a student at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology before exploring opportunities in modeling, styling, and digital content creation, all of which helped elevate her notoriety as Asia’s next Fashion Icon. For the past few years, she has captivated both brands and consumers alike with her unique personal style and effervescent personality. Today, Irene commands a growing social media following, enabling her to share stories and experiences with a global and dynamic audience. Most recently, she launched her own collection, Ireneisgood Label, featuring apparel and accessories conveying messages of “goodness, encouragement, and empowerment.”  

James Lee [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

James studied Music and Communications at CSUF and at the BIT of Musician’s Institute. He played bass for 13 years as a member of bands across several genres including Metal, Indie Rock and K-Pop. On June 10, 2015 a debilitating accident severed his left hand and left James unable to play the bass any longer. After a brief stint playing synth for his former band, Royal Pirates, he called it quits because of the worsening condition of his health. After 5 surgeries James moved back to LA and decided to release music written post accident in a project called ’the Light EP.’ Funding a successful kickstarter campaign has been fundamental to rehabilitation and restarting his hopes as a musician. He is currently writing and recovering and continues to create as his passion.

Lee Minho is a model, actor, and singer. Since gaining international stardom in the year 2009 as the lead role in hit drama Boys Over Flowers, Lee Minho has starred in the popular drama series City Hunter and The Heirs. Through his various roles, he has gone on to earn more than 23 awards ranging from Best Actor, Most Popular Star, and Top Excellence Actor. He most recently starred in the action-adventure film Bounty Hunters which premiered at the top spot at the Chinese Box office and was later screened internationally in countries such as Australia, England, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
