Hello KCON-ers~ How have you all been doing? This week is quite a big and important one for all of us Hallyu loving fans, it’s KCON17NY combo ticket sales week! That means it’s your opportunity to see CNBLUE, GFRIEND, HIGHLIGHT, KNK, NCT 127, SF9, TWICE, UP10TION, and ZION.T LIVE! Although there are many things to love about KCON, the concerts are definitely one of the largest highlights of all. You’ve got a whole lot of artists, in one concert venue together, who doesn’t want to see all their favorites perform in one night? Not to mention, all the potential idol interactions that could happen during the concerts’ closing. The list goes on and on and we’ve got four reasons to share with you as to why you should be excited for #KCON17NY!

KCON 2017 USA #BRINGYOURKROWD CONTEST   OFFICIAL RULES VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. FOR MINORS 13 AND OLDER: BEFORE ENTERING, YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST CONSENT TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST (SEE AVAILABLE CONSENT FORM)   PLEASE READ THESE KCON 2017 “#BRINGYOURKROWD CONTEST” OFFICIAL RULES (“OFFICIAL RULES”) CAREFULLY.  IN CONSIDERATION OF CJ E&M AMERICA, INC. PERMITTING YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST, WHICH YOU ACKNOWLEDGE IS GOOD, VALUABLE, AND SUFFICIENT CONSIDERATION, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES.  THESE OFFICIAL RULES ARE A CONTRACT THAT INCLUDES LIMITATIONS OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.     ELIGIBILITY & SPONSOR: The KCON 2017 #BringYourKrowd Contest (“Contest”), sponsored by CJ E&M America, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), is open only to legal residents of the contiguous United States, and the District of Columbia (excluding residents of Arizona) (“Eligibility Area”) who comply with these Official Rules in all respects. Participation in the Contest is limited to individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older (as of the date the individual commences participation in the Contest) and minors thirteen (13) years or older  (a “Minor”) with parental consent documented in a completed KCON 2017 #BringYourKrowd Contest Parental/Guardian Consent Form (“Consent Form”).  Minors who do not obtain a valid, completed Consent Form are not eligible to enter or win.  Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor or Sponsor’s parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the immediate family members of such individuals (spouse, parents, siblings, children, legal guardians, in-laws, grandparents, and grandchildren, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same households (whether legally related or not) of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or win.  Contest is void outside the Eligibility Area and wherever prohibited by law.   CONTEST DESCRIPTION: Participating individuals who meet the eligibility requirements and agree to be bound by these Official Rules (the “Entrant(s)” or “you”) have an opportunity to win a Prize (as defined in Paragraph 6) by bringing the largest “Krowd” possible at KCON 2017 LA (the “LA Event”). There will be one (1) winner at the LA Event (the “LA Winner”).   To enter the Contest, Entrants must follow the instructions as detailed in Paragraph 4.  Please refer to Paragraph 3 for more detailed information regarding the entry period for the Contest.  All entries and confirmation number submissions must be received during the entry periods.   Disclaimer: Please be advised that in order to win a Contest, it is required to attend the corresponding Event.  As between Sponsor and the Winners, it will be Winners’ sole responsibilities to make all arrangements (e.g., transportation and lodging) in order to attend the Event of each corresponding Contest.  Sponsor will not be responsible for providing any means of transportation or lodging for the Winners or any member of their “Krowd.”  If a potential Winner is unable to attend the corresponding Event, he/she will be deemed ineligible to win the Contest, and an alternate Entrant may be selected as an alternative winner.    TIMING:   Contest Timing:   i) Entry Period: LA Event: 10:00 a.m. PT on July 21, 2017 – 11:59 p.m. PT on August 4, 2017;   ii) Verification Period: LA Event: August 4, 2017 – August 18, 2017 (group registration time TBA) ;   Winner Announcements: The LA Winner will be determined and announced by no later than the first day of the LA Event, August 18, 2017. KCON shall post the names of the Winners on KCON’s official website (https://kconusa.com/).  Please see Paragraph 7 for further details.   HOW TO ENTER: To enter the LA Contest, please do the following:   Once registration for the Events is open, register for the KCON 2017 convention and obtain your confirmation number. If Entrant is a Minor aged 13 years or older, send Sponsor the completed Consent Form, which can be downloaded at: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kp1j41ofdl5rh5h/KCON%202017%20-%20Bring%20Your%20Krowd%20Contest%20-%20Consent%20Form%20%28PH%2005022017_clean%29…..docx?dl=0. Entrant’s parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the Consent Form and either e-mail to Sponsor at Effie@kconusa.com or mail the Consent Form to Sponsor’s physical address at: CJ E&M America, Inc., 5700 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 550, Los Angeles, CA 90036. The Consent Form must be received by Sponsor in order for the Minor’s entry to be valid. Go to KCON’s official website (https://kconusa.com/) and register for the Contest. Begin gathering your “Krowd”! Note: An Entrant cannot be a member of another Entrant’s “Krowd.” One confirmation number is only good for one entry into the Contest or for one member of Entrant’s “Krowd.”  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant who appears as a member of a “Krowd” or submits multiple entries using various e-mail addresses. Obtain screenshots of their confirmation numbers and submit the screenshot along with your “Krowd” member’s full name (first and last) to Sponsor at Effie@kconusa.com. If any member of your “Krowd” member is a Minor aged 13 years or older, send Sponsor a fully-executed Consent Form for each Minor “Krowd” member. The Consent Form must be received by Sponsor in order for this member to be considered as part of your “Krowd.” You may submit as many confirmation numbers and names as possible during the entry periods (as noted in Paragraph 3(a)(i)). You must bring all of your “Krowd” members to KCON 2017 and verify their identities with Sponsor’s staff with a valid ID. After your “Krowd” has been verified, you must be able to correctly answer a question regarding KCON 2017 artists to win the Contest.   Note: Please refer to Paragraph 8 for information regarding Disqualification.  Use of any automated system to participate or generate entries (or otherwise assist in participation) is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.  The submission of multiple entries or confirmation numbers for or from the same individual will result in disqualification.  Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.  In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder (as defined below) of the e-mail address from which the entry was sent.  A Winner may be requested to

The final artist announcements happened on #KCONLiveChat today and Vanessa and Winnie announced that ZION.T will be joining the lineup for KCON17NY! This came as an unexpected but pleasant surprise to many. Check out the hints and explanations below! Who’s ready to jam with ZION.T!?

ZION.T is a Korean hip-hop and R&B solo artist under The Black Label, a subsidiary label of YG Entertainment. He has released one studio album, Red Light (2013), and two EPs, Mirrorball (2013) and OO (2017). His first single “Click Me” featuring Dok2 was released in April 2011. In 2014, he promoted the digital single “Yanghwa BRDG,” which became a hit and contributed to his rising mainstream success as an artist in Korea’s music scene. His latest release, OO, landed second place on Billboard’s World Albums. The song “Complex” featuring G-Dragon was selected as Apple Music’s “Best of the Week.” He’s soulful, has the best glasses, is incredibly hip–we’re talking about Zion.T! We are so pumped to welcome the man whose lyrics have the power make us shed some serious tears one minute and feel seriously cool the next. [#KCON17NY] NCT 127 Playlist

NCT 127 is part of the K-pop boy group NCT, which stands for Neo Culture Technology. The group consists of 9 members: Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Doyoung, Yuta, Jaehyun, Win Win, Mark, and Haechan. The number 127 represents the longitude coordinates of Seoul, South Korea. NCT 127 made their debut in July last year with a mini album titled NCT #127. Their second mini album Limitless was released digitally on January 6, 2017 and physically on January 9, 2017. The new album scored No.1 spot on Billboard’s World Albums Chart upon its release.     This is a very very good thing! NCT 127 is the newest artist to join the KCON NY lineup! We were totally blown away by their performance at KCON Mexico, and now we’re so happy to be able to show our US KCON fans what NCT 127 is all about. Are you ready to see them in New York from June 23-24 at the Prudential Center?
