Crystal, also known as Crystal Diamond is a classically trained dancer who is known for her versatile K-Pop dance covers on Instagram. She has been captivated by K-Pop choreography since 2012 and opened her account in 2015. Since then, Crystal aspires to spread her passion for dance and unite the kcommunity through the love for K-Pop.

If Alex Nguyen could choose to be any idol, it would be HyunA. If he could have any career, he’d want to be an author, paleontologist, backup dancer, child psychiatrist, or all of the above. Alex loves pizza and fried rice. But what he loves most is meeting, fanboying, and dancing alongside fellow K-pop lovers

Young Ajummah is a 30+ year old K-Pop fan turned Hallyu freelance writer. She has a monthly podcast on Aewen Radio where she plays the latest and the greatest Korean hip hop and R&B. Young Ajummah also spends her nights binging the latest action/horror Korean movies and K-Dramas (no romance please) so make sure you join her hysterical adventures by following her on social media.

VJ Hanna [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Hanna is a host on the K-Pop-TV network, broadcasting 24 hours a day in San Francisco and online in Los Angeles. Hanna has been researching K-Pop content, interviewing Korean artists, and designing playlists constantly to help keep the 24-Hour K-Pop-TV network exciting and informative. Her goal is to expand the joy of the K-Pop experience for existing fans and to expose more Americans to this spectacular art form.

Victoria Ortiz [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Ever since she first heard Jinho sing ballads in his pre-debut, she longed for him to debut as a member of a full-fledged Idol group. It wasn’t until years later that she finally saw him debut as a member of PENTAGON! Victoria enjoys singing along to any PENTAGON’s song, and breaks into dance whenever she hears Shine.

Amy – The Ahjummas [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Amy is a co-founder of The Ahjummas, a K-Pop and K-Drama fan community with the motto “You’re Never Too Old to Fangirl.” Amy has been a K-Drama and K-Pop enthusiast since 2010, and has been diligently studying the Korean language and culture for two years. Her phone ringtone is the Healer theme, and she can often be caught humming Spring Day by BTS. When she’s not expressing her fangirl self with dramatic gifs online and in chats, she is a professional author and mom of two.

Shelby Moses [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Since KCON 2012, Shelby has bonded with fans across the country through dancing, cosplaying and K-Pop memes. Shelby spends her days working on dances with her crew A0K, running a huge Hip Hop dance competition in San Diego, and converting all of the students at UCSD into K-Pop fans. Her go to groups are 24K, Pentagon, and Stray Kids, but she loves all of K-Pop.

ReacttotheK [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

ReacttotheK is a YouTube channel centered around classical music majors who react to and musically analyze K-Pop songs. Through their videos, they hope to not only entertain their audience, but also highlight the cool melodic, harmonic, rhythmic and instrumental things that are happening in the songs they react to. Attending this year’s KCON LA will be Umu, Kevin, Yunyi, Davis, Fiona, Lindsey, Jarod and Charlotte. They’re all super pumped to meet Clamus and to host a rockin panel!

Randy [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Randy has loved K-Pop for a long while now. He especially loves the dances that these idols practice and perform. This not only makes him want to learn the dances, but grow as a dancer to be like some of his favorite idols like Lay or Kino. Along with EXO and Pentagon, you could probably also find him jamming to Twice, Wanna One, and Highlight.

Min Joo Lee [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Min Joo is a PhD candidate at UCLA Gender Studies department. She loves to watch Korean television dramas and swoon over the romantic chemistry and heartbreaks between the heroes and heroines. Channeling her passion for K-Dramas, Min Joo academically researches the Korean Wave. More specifically, she talks to K-Drama fans from all over the world who are inspired by Korean dramas into developing romantic and intimate desires for Korean men/women.
