KCON USA

Justine Mae Biticon [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Justine Mae Biticon is an LA based model who began her career at the age of 16. Most recently, she has fronted multiple Nike Women campaigns and signed with Ford Models. She strives to change the fashion and model industry by being a face of diversity.

Kathryn [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Kathryn has been a hard-core fan of K-Dramas since 2009, when she stumbled across “You’re Beautiful” and marathoned everything she could get her hands on. She’s written about K-Pop and K-Dramas since 2010, and often spends hours staring dreamily at Lee Jong Suk’s face. After living in Japan and seeing Big Bang 3 times, Kathryn decided to dedicate herself to the fandom life. She now manages the social media accounts for Soompi and video streaming site Viki, and can be seen fangirling publicly on their Facebook and YouTube channel.

Dramabeans – Sarah Chung, Jen Chung [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Sarah is the creator of Dramabeans, a site she started in 2007 under the name “javabeans” in order to discuss her favorite K-dramas with other diehard fans, hoping there would be some. It turns out there were many more than she could ever imagine, and now, 11 years and over 5,000 recaps later, Dramabeans has grown into the K-drama fan’s go-to destination for recaps, analysis, and discussion over all things drama, from narrative deconstruction to shipping fandom OTPs. Jen, or “girlfriday,” is javabeans’ co-pilot and co-conspirator at Dramabeans, home to all things K-drama, where no plot hole, wrist-grab, or piggyback is left unturned. She’s happiest when watching dramas and discussing them with other addicts, and is proud of the inclusive, global community that Dramabeans has become over the years. Dramabeans is many things—recaps, news, reviews—but more importantly, it’s a home where all are welcome, as long as they wear their fan-love on their sleeves.

Edith Marie [#KCON18LA Special Guest]

Edith Marie is the ying to Q Park’s yang. As much of an introvert that she is, she braves Q Park’s public antics for their Q Squad. When she’s not filming, she’s busy cuddling Koya and eating churros.
